In spite of their apparently static nature, the pictures of the Light Work series depict the process of a higher degree, spiritual transformation by means of the interaction of depersonalized human figures and artifical light. The photographs, which were created in 2012, draw the viewer’s attention to the notion of individuality through the exclusive presence of the human figures, while the intensity of the applied light emphasizes the extraordinariness of the scenes and enables a broader, more abstract interpretation of the works.
